Business leaders sign up to Executives in Residence programme

The School’s International Advisory Board, supported by the School’s Career Development Service, has established the ‘Executive in Residence’ programme that commences this month. Five Executives in Residence have been put forward by the Board to lend their considerable experience and networks to students. Bill Thomas, Christine Miles, Nigel Doughty, Hilary Sears and Robert Wright have generously offered their time to students over the next term. The aim of the programme is to give students the opportunity to meet with senior executives from the School’s Advisory Board throughout the year to acquire career advice, networking contacts and discuss business ideas.
Commenting on the role, Bill Thomas (MBA 1992), Former Senior Vice President & General Manager at HP EMEA said: "The Cranfield Experience was extremely important in my career. It’s where I came to appreciate the skill set of a General Manager and the power of diversity. I am delighted to be able to support the School through the Executive in Residence programme and engage with the diverse talents that comprise the student body."
